January Rides and Causes to Help Out in 2010

Happy New Year from the San Diego Century Bicycle Tour!

Looking for group and club rides? Check out our local suggestions for January. Have you thought of using your cycling miles to raise awareness and funds for a great cause? Take a look at two causes that are part of the San Diego Century Bicycle Tour: Tour de H2O working to fund water wells in Africa and the Challenged Athletes Foundation providing training, competition and equipment grants for athletes with physical challenges. Consider riding for a cause this year!

January 8
Solana Beach: B+L Bike+Sports Store, Weekly Women’s only ride. 8:45am

January 16:
Ocotillo, CA: 6th Annual Stagecoach Century

January 17:
B+L Bike+Sports: We have our Flat repair clinic on the 17th at 4pm, Sports Arena location



January 23:
San Diego: Trek’s 20 mile kick-off ride to an 18 week training program, starting at Fiesta Island at 8:30am. Check out the FREE training program leading up to rides at the Gran Fondo on March 7 and the San Diego Century Bicycle Tour on May 22.
