Free Training Plans to Kick Off 2010

The San Diego Century Bicycle Tour has partners in the Southern California cycling community to help you get rolling on the bike in 2010. Our friends at Trek provided the free training program that is posted here. Trek also has a great group that will be cycling together and preparing for the San Diego Century Bicycle Tour on May 22, and the Gran Fondo on March 7. You can check out their group ride schedule below.

If you're looking for an expert to lead you through the training, check out the programs from one of our featured "Ride With" athletes: Darryl MacKenzie. Darryl is an accomplished coach, endurance cyclist, bike fitter and leader in the cycling community. Darryl will be leading three stationary trainer programs that lead up to the San Diego Century Bicycle Tour, all 6 weeks long: Power & Endurance is underway as of January 5th, Century Prep starts February 23 and the Hill Climbing Clinic starts on April 13. If you are interested in contacting Darryl for coaching advice, a bike fit, or getting on the list for one of his spinning classes then leave a comment here or contact Darryl directly at DarrylMacKenzie@Cox.Net.
